Kenzie joined the lab just last year after doing Psychology based research in the Roley-Roberts lab. She wanted to get some wet lab experience and her work is producing data even as she is actively in her very last of Final’s week pushes. Academically Mackenzie is a Neuroscience major (Philosophy and Biology minors), Resident Assistant for the Honor’s Program and Active Minds President (among other things)
Mackenzie will be attending Medical School at St. Louis University, a school she basically never stopped talking about from application forward… good on you SLU, you are getting a good one!
Mackenzie is receiving high honors here at Creighton as Award’s Season rolls forward. She was recognized by the Honors Program, receiving the Spirit of Honors award. She received the Collaboration Award from Residential Life. She was recognized for Academic Excellence and Service to the Neuroscience Major. And she received the Ratio Award, given to a Philosophy minor.
