In February, Dr. King was awarded the CCAS Dean’s Award for Professional Excellence in Major Advising. Of the annual awards given out by the College, this is the only one selected by members of the CCAS Student Senate. There is simply nothing better than having students say “well done!” This means SO very much. One hopes their efforts are appreciated because they are quality, useful, and enduring but to have confirmation is a true gift, especially on the hard days that come with every job and profession.
