Nick Sande gave his senior Honors Research Day poster presentation today, sniff… sniff. Its the beginning of the end, sniff…. sniff…. I’m not crying, you are!
Nah… we are proud of Nick and super lucky to have him around for one more year as a 4+1 MS student so that he can complete his project looking for a mechanism to explain why Klotho knockout mice are deaf. This semester has been a LOT of protocol development. Turns out, dissecting tiny pieces of brain isn’t the only really hard thing out there… picking bone off of cochlear cell layers is pretty high up there too! Well done Nick and keep up the good work.
